Interview Feature: Bella Davis — Strength, Purpose & Global Presence

International model Bella Davis is more than a familiar face on global campaigns and magazine covers. Born in Sweden and proudly rooted in her Jamaican heritage, Bella represents a new generation of models—disciplined, mentally resilient, and deeply connected to purpose. With over a decade of professional experience and a career spanning multiple continents, she continues to redefine what modern success in fashion truly means.
“I describe myself in three words,” Bella says. Driven. Confident. Outgoing.
But behind that confident presence lies a story shaped by discipline, personal transformation, and unwavering mental strength.
From Athlete to International Model
Before the runway, Bella’s world revolved around sport. For nearly ten years, she trained seriously in football and handball and attended a sports-focused school. Her first encounter with the fashion industry came unexpectedly at just twelve years old, while visiting her father in London. A scout connected to Select Model Management discovered her—but at the time, Bella chose not to sign.
“I wasn’t ready,” she explains. “I couldn’t speak English properly and my focus was completely on sport.”
Although she admired figures like Tyra Banks and grew up watching America’s Next Top Model, it wasn’t until she turned sixteen that modeling became a real goal. Soon after, she signed with an agency in the United States—marking the true beginning of her international career.
A Career Built Across the World
Today, Bella Davis is recognized globally, working with leading brands and platforms across fashion, beauty, and entertainment. She has appeared in some of the most influential magazines in the world, including Vogue and Elle, milestones she considers deeply meaningful.
“They say you haven’t really made it as a model until you’ve been in Vogue,” she shares. “I feel extremely grateful to have reached that point.”
Her portfolio also includes appearances in major music videos, walking in Project Runway, and campaigns for beauty giants such as Mary Kay, Laura Mercier, and Shiseido. Most recently, Bella became a brand ambassador for Fashion Nova, a global label followed by more than 20 million people online.
Although she is often referred to as an influencer, Bella prefers a much simpler title.
“I’m a model.”
The Mindset That Saved Her
When asked who has had the greatest impact on her life, Bella immediately credits her parents—and then someone who completely changed her way of thinking: David Goggins.
“He helped transform my mindset at a time when I truly needed it,” she says. “I honestly don’t think I would be the person I am today without discovering his work.”
The modeling industry, Bella explains, demands extraordinary emotional resilience.
“You are constantly being evaluated—your appearance, your personality, your presence. It’s not nearly as glamorous as people imagine. You need a very strong backbone to survive and still stay true to who you are.”
For Bella, mental training is non-negotiable.
“I train my mind the same way I train my body. Every single day.”
She believes real strength comes from not allowing external opinions or situations to define internal peace.
“When you truly know who you are, you don’t need validation. I stopped taking things personally—and that changed my life.”
Redefining Failure
Bella no longer uses the word failure.
Instead, she sees every setback as an opportunity to understand herself more deeply.
“I’ve been through so many obstacles, but they taught me what I stand for. They taught me how to build a mindset that is stronger than my emotions.”
She believes transformation requires courage to change habits and perspectives.
“If you want different results, you can’t continue doing the same things and expect a different outcome.”
Visualization, Discipline and Daily Structure
Success, Bella says, is not accidental. It begins in the mind.
“I’ve always practiced visualization. Everything I have today, I saw in my head before it became real.”
Television appearances and public exposure also played a role in expanding her global visibility—but discipline remains her foundation.
Bella follows a structured daily routine centered on both physical and mental health. Her days typically include training sessions, meditation, yoga and Pilates. She also enjoys running and cycling, and frequently introduces new activities into her routine to keep her body and mind evolving.
“I push myself hard, but I also surround myself with people who lift me up. We motivate each other to stay aligned with our goals.”
What Happiness Truly Means to Her
For Bella, happiness is not defined by fame, followers, or fashion contracts.
“Happiness is having a healthy family and living a meaningful life. It comes from finding your purpose and committing to it every day.”
She believes joy should be treated as a priority, not a reward.
“Whatever truly makes you happy—do it. At the end of the day, happiness is everything.”
Inspirations Beyond Fashion
If she could meet anyone in history, Bella would choose Tupac Shakur.
“I admire what he stood for. His music carries depth and truth—and if you know me, you know I love hip-hop.”
Social Media as a Strategic Tool
In Bella’s view, social media is not simply about popularity—it is about visibility and opportunity.
“It has helped me connect with agencies and secure work around the world. You just need to use it intelligently.”
She acknowledges its intensity but believes the key lies in balance and intention.
A Modern Role Model of Strength
Bella Davis represents a new type of fashion leader—one defined not only by beauty and success, but by emotional discipline, self-awareness and purpose-driven ambition.
In an industry built on constant judgment and pressure, Bella continues to rise by protecting the one thing she values most:
her mindset.
